Only an hour and a half drives from Kuala Lumpur to Port Dickson. Here we are, for our reunion gathering in year 2011.
A beautiful place where U used to lived and grow up. Nestled by the seaside of Port Dickson Beach is Thistle Port Dickson Resort & Spa.
Many types of activities can be carried out by the sea side. Yachting, cannoying, sailing, swimming, play volley ball, breeze walk, sun bathing, build sand castle and so forth. In this resort, they have golf facilities too. Not too faraway, you can also visit the Ostrich farm, Eagle Ranch for theme building, sights of a few famous Oil Refineries, one of the many power plants.
Port Dickson town is also not to faraway from our Kuala Lumpur International Airport located just about 45 minutes away. Time to relax,enjoy the sea breeze, the sun, the sea, activities, dancing, music and food.
When we reached this place, what I wanted was to meet all my old friends, visit the beach, eat, share, talk, drink and share laughter. We certainly didn't waste our time there. A few of them started their jugs of beer, hard liquor and wine drinking session while we chat away until 8.30pm. We decided to adjourned to our private function blue dinning room. Served by the Chef. It was a wonderful surprise to see how all of us have grown and transformed along the years together with their family members.
Welcome us, the Security Guards with a warm smile and a salute upon entering. Not to miss the lifestyle of a golfer. Nice. Though there are a few other golf course around the resort.
However my group of friends were more eager to eat, drink and share our life stories after so many years we missed each other. The value of time.
The entrance was beautifully decorated with a warm welcome to all of us.
Many other Company events were held here at the same time we checked in.
We all continued our talks, drinks after dinner at the pool side beside the beach with music and a music band. Those who wanted to sing, did their part and those who wanted to dance also managed to have some fun together.
Good old days. We remembered how Port Dickson was. How we carried out our activities together for charity work via Interact Club of Port Dickson. We represented School, District and Country for a few of us. Happy fun old days for sure.
Everyone of us had great parents and great teachers plus good friends. 'The Know knows Who' and 'Who is Who' in Port Dickson.
Only a glimpse of us stayed in Port Dickson. Working for the industries which had existed for more than 100 years old. The naughty boys grew up and now they are doing well in their career. The studious, migrated overseas. How we progress, where we all are right now. A few migrated along with their family members. Glad we all are healthy and fine.
Thistle Port Dickson Resort & Spa brings good memories to many who had functions organised here during our old days along the beach. Sports activities.
Cool and humid temperature with occasional rains especially towards year end. Overall rating for the whole year round brings good trips to many. Assorted food from many countries are not hard to find.
A nice place to be at to relax, have peace and to have fun.
